Welcome to Our Practice

Dentist Monroe, MI - Mark A. Eby D.D.S., P.C.

Welcome and thank you for choosing our practice. We would like to take a moment of your time to discuss some of our thoughts and policies. We care about your well-being and understand that there may be several factors that affect your decision on how to improve, maintain, or fix your dentition. Therefore we pride ourselves in thoroughly discussing all treatment options. We like to discuss all factors that play a role in deciding what’s best, so we can prepare the right treatment to meet your needs. With this in mind we follow ADA (American Dental Association) guidelines. We firmly believe that x-rays are necessary in order to develop proper treatment plans. All initial appointments require x-rays unless provided from another facility (as long as they are current and clear). We recommend annual maintenance, and feel that correcting problems while they are small give our patients the comfort, esthetics and function they need and desire. We will review and work with your insurance company to try and maximize your dental benefit; however, we may not be able to come up with answers to all questions that you may have. Please work with us and keep us posted of any changes to your insurance policy because you will be responsible for any discrepancies that may occur due to time limitations, coverage clauses, etc…

Your time is valuable, and so is ours. We will try our best to get you the appointment that you need within the hours of business, and we will provide adequate reminders. We routinely send out postcards for cleaning appointments two-three weeks in advance and provide a confirmation call two days in advance. Keep in mind that we have a strict broken appointment policy. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in a broken appointment fee. This allows us to better serve our patients. Lastly, we are responsible for taking care and maintaining your dental records. Although they are records of you, we have a legal obligation to maintain this information in case it was needed. You are entitled to a copy, but a copy fee is required to obtain these records. If interested, or you are in need of these records, please discuss this with the receptionist. Again, I would like to welcome you to our practice and I look forward to taking care of you and your family.
